Cinematic Perspectives of Christ

Abstract: An 8 page research/discussion paper that describes 3 films: The Gospel According to Saint Matthew, directed by Pier Paolo Pasolini in 1964; Jesus Christ Superstar, direct by Norman Jewison, Ted Neeley and Carl Anderson in 1973; and The Passion of the Christ, directed by Mel Gibson in 2004. These movies are compared and contrasted according to their presentation of traditional Christian dogma. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
