Pre-Fire Planning

Abstract: 5 pages in length. Inasmuch as fires occur when people are least prepared, there are a number of precautions to take as a means by which to avert such a tragedy from happening. Each town's local fire department works hard to educated the community as to the necessary carefulness to help prevent -- as well as deal -- with fires. Whether the issue revolves around community structure, escape routes, fire extinguishers, smoke detectors or planning and executing routine family fire drills, firefighters are constantly instructing the public on how to prevent fires.
