United States Agricultural Subsidies

Abstract: An 8 page paper discussing various aspects of agriculture subsidies in the United States. Many people are opposed to any form of government subsidies, and the agricultural industry is no exception. People believe that the government should not fund the crops of these farmers, despite the fact that this country depends on the success of agriculture to feed us and cloth us. Various illustrations of subsidies and opinions regarding these subsidies is provided, in addition to information discussing the effectiveness of such subsidies. Also discussed briefly are similar programs in other countries. Bibliography lists 8 sources.
