Trade Relations Between Brazil and South Florida

Abstract: A 6 page paper discussing the relationship between southern Florida and Brazil for the purposes of trade. South Florida ports are the closest point of entry for ships originating in Brazil, but there are other forces at work. Florida intends to build its port business as much as possible, and Brazil is the most likely candidate in the Western Hemisphere. It has grown in this century more than any other country in the world, and it is officially listed as a Big Emerging Market, putting it on par with India and China in potential, if not in volume.
