Television and the Decline of the Family Unit

Abstract: A 5 page paper that discusses how the common use of the television has, for the most part, pulled many families further apart. Television has become a very regular part of our society and more importantly, of our family life. We prefer to sit and watch television, whether together or alone, than to sit and talk with our family. While this makes us more enlightened about the world and perhaps about society, it does little to teach us about ourselves and our family. Bibliography lists 4 sources.
