Canadian Aboriginal Schools as Cultural Genocide

Abstract: A 10 page research paper that discusses the residential school system that was imposed by the Canadian federal government on Aboriginal populations. This examination of literature discusses this legacy with a focus on its purpose, which the literature indicates that was the equivalent of cultural genocide, as public policy purposefully set out to eradicate native cultures and languages.
