Abstract: 5 pages in length. Guerrilla warfare is described as military or paramilitary operations conducted in enemy-held territory by irregular forces, often groups indigenous to that territory. Guerrillas usually operate from bases established in remote locations due to the fact they normally lack numerical strength or weapons enough to oppose a regular army. Describes the history and methods of guerilla warfare, including tactics used and modern day guerrillas. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
