Questions in Anthropology

Abstract: A 9 page address of seven specific questions in anthropology. These questions relate to subjects ranging from rites of passage, to definitions of socialization, enculturation, and reflexivity. Discussions are included as well on how fieldwork institutionalizes shock, totally generous acts, culturally shaped consumption, and Bourgois' "Selling Crack in El Barrio".
