Abstract: A 4 page paper which examines how artists have incorporated the body into art in different ways. The artists and work examined are Jackson Pollock's "Number 1 (1950)," Chris Burden's "Doorway to Heaven (1973)", and Arahmaiani's "Dayang Sumbi Refuses Status Quo (1999)."
