Abstract: A 5 page paper discussing this story of the life of 1994 Nobel Prize winner John Forbes Nash, Jr. Nash is a mathematical genius whose promising career is nearly destroyed by the emergence of schizophrenia. The film instructs and informs, but it mostly conveys a message of hope. John maintains the hope that he will be able to construct and maintain a normal life for himself and his family; Alicia never truly loses the hope she has that the family will be healed of its stressors.
