The Influence of Capitalism on Population Growth

Abstract: This 6 page report discusses the fact that population growth is influenced by factors as diverse as government control to nutrition. This report considers three primary areas in which capitalism and population growth are related -- cultural and social factors, food production, and the example provided by the sugar industry of how a single good determines and economic structure of production and consumption.
