The film What Dreams May Come starring Robin Williams and written by Richard Matheson uses unique camera techniques in order to create the atmosphere necessary to make the viewer feel that he or she has indeed been transported to the afterlife. The camera techniques are but one of many ingenious tactics used within this film to convey both heaven and hell, and the dreamlike quality that many feel the afterlife might resemble.
