Casablanca: The Movie (1942)

Abstract: (5 pp). How do you write a thesis statement in terms of a classic? Casablanca is a movie's movie. It may have been a movie we grew up with. One that someone sat us down and said, "you have to watch this;" or one we never thought we would watch, and yet "catches us" any time we are within five feet of viewing it. Thesis statement: Casablanca has all the elements that make a good drama, and may turn it into a "lifelong friend."
