Urban Sprawl: Impact Upon Wildlife

Abstract: 24 pages in length. Worldwide, humanity's encroachment upon the land is causing perilous consequences to the wildlife community. From America's national parks to the Belize rain forests to the global deserts, animals are fighting for their very existence as mankind's urban sprawl continues to infringe upon the environment. Wildlife rehabilitation clinics have significantly helped with the problem of addressing the fact that many wildlife species having nowhere left to go but straight into suburbia; however, their efforts are not taking shape quickly enough as a means by which to abate the overwhelming human ignorance in relation to wildlife knowledge and the irreparable harm that is occurring due to selfish actions.
