The Decline of the Mule Deer in the Rocky Mountain West

Abstract: This 14-page-paper presents an in-depth discussion on the declining population of the mule deer in the Rocky Mountain West. It opens with a detailed description of the mule deer and moves into an explanation of the destruction of their natural habitat thereby depriving them of food. Further along in the paper there is a discussion about fire suppression and the use of pesticides which further depletes the deer food supply. The effect that illness also has on the population is explored with a conclusion that reviews the points made throughout the paper. Bibliography lists 10 sources.
