Andy Kaufman -- A Phenomenon of Sociological Comment

Abstract: This 6 page report discusses the comic actor Andy Kaufman (1949-1984). People who are aware of Andy Kaufman appear to have one of two attitudes about him -- they love him, thought him to be a comic genius, and are certain he was greatly under-estimated. The other attitude is that Kaufman was tiresome, a mediocre talent, and are certain he was greatly over-estimated. Regardless of personal likes or dislikes, one can see that Kaufman always presented his commentary on contemporary life. Whether the audience liked or agreed with it was not his concern. Bibliography lists 4 sources.
